Data Analyst (Tallahassee)

Florida Institute for Child Welfare at FSU’s College of Social Work is hiring a Data Analyst.

Responsibilities include:

• The MyALIGN Data Analyst leads data management and evaluation efforts for the MyALIGN professional development initiative. Additionally, this position oversees and manages the research resource library. This position ensures timely and accurate data collection, analysis, and reporting to support program improvement and accountability. Conducts the day-to-day data evaluation activities of MyALIGN offerings for the purposes of outcome tracking and continuous quality improvement (CQI). This includes:

• Developing and implementing brief data collection tools for singular events (e.g., webinars, training). Analyzes data both by event and longitudinally, providing periodic reports and insights.

• Collecting, monitoring, analyzing, and reporting data collected standard through the MyALIGN learning management system and its users.

• Supporting the Assistant Director in collection and analysis of MyALIGN customer satisfaction data.

• Overseeing quality assurance and security of collected data

Experience/Education:

• Bachelor’s degree and two years of experience or a high school diploma or equivalent and six years of experience.

• Experienced in LMS data management, training evaluation, and Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) frameworks.

• Skilled in data cataloguing, taxonomy development, and managing controlled vocabularies.

• Proficient in data analysis, visualization, and reporting using modern tools and techniques.

• Strong understanding of search and retrieval systems, including indexing and tagging strategies.

• Effective working both independently and in collaborative team environments.
