Vice President of Crisis and Community Navigation (Jacksonville)
United Way of Northeast Florida is hiring a Vice President of Crisis and Community Navigation. Salary is $120,000.
Responsibilities:
• Provide leadership to initiatives that support United Way’s ALICE Promise, outcomes and goals, including 2-1-1, 988, Mission United, and any other emerging initiative related to Crisis and Navigation Services.
• Anticipate emerging community trends and build responsive, future-ready systems for crisis and resource navigation.
• Lead the strategic development and execution of United Way’s Crisis and Navigation Services in alignment with United Way’s mission and values.
• Lead the seamless integration of 211, 988, and veteran support services within the Crisis and Navigation Services model.
• Champion continuous improvement and innovation in service delivery models, technology systems, and data-driven decision-making.
Education/Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree required in Public Administration, Nonprofit Management, Social Services, Social Work, Health Administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive leadership experience in nonprofit, social services, emergency response sectors or public health. Demonstrated experience working with complex systems’ initiatives and community-based approaches with a goal of community-level improvement.
• Demonstrated success managing complex, multi-program operations, preferably including crisis contact centers or emergency response services.
• Proven track record leading government-funded programs and contractual performance.
• A strategic thinker and innovative problem solver, flexible and capable of adapting to changing priorities.
• Direct experience with 211, 988, Lifeline, VA/military systems, or integrated navigation programs strongly preferred.
