Community Care Navigator (Sebring, Florida)

United Way of Central Florida is looking for a Community Care Navigator.

Job responsibilities include:

• Build awareness of available benefits and social services for Highlands and Hardee County residents, making referrals to appropriate programs such as SNAP, Medicaid, KidCare, and food pantries.

• Actively engage with the community through events, meetings, and outreach efforts to connect with underserved populations.

• Travel throughout Highlands and Hardee counties to promote resources, build relationships, and support residents.

• Follow up with individuals and families to ensure needs are being addressed.

The hourly rate for this grant-funded position is $25 per hour.
