Operations & Drop-In Coordinator (Seattle)
Organization for Prostitution Survivors in Seattle, WA is hiring an Operations & Drop-In Coordinator.
Job responsibilities include:
• Welcome & orient participants to the drop-in space; provide support and resources to all participants
• Manage OPS Helpline & waitlist. Log contacts in Apricot. Assess the urgency of the caller’s need. Add to the waitlist or refer to the appropriate staff. Share updates in weekly Case Consultation. Provide callers with weekly group information and resources
• Develop relationships with partners and foster meaningful collaboration with supportive services for the drop-in center (e.g. legal advocacy, medical services, etc), including attending and facilitating meetings with outside providers outside of drop-in center hours
• Research, set up, and coordinate operations related to drop-in, including things like phone management systems, first aid training, and delivery, or other new initiatives
• Support advocates, workshop facilitators, volunteers, and interns in conducting their work in the drop-in center space
Desired skills include:
• Understanding of CSE through lived experience and/or work/education history
• A combination of work experience lived experience, and education comparable to a BA in a social service or social science discipline
• 1 year experience with program coordination
• Knowledge of and experience utilizing relevant local referral services systems, and resources
• Experience partnering and networking with agencies on behalf of CSE or related issues
