Behavioral Interventions for Social Workers for Individuals with Pain Disorders or Receiving Medication for Opioid Use Disorders​

CSWE is offering a free one-hour webinar for social workers on Tuesday, August 4, 2026.

Learning objectives include:

• Understand the three phases of policies and practices regarding pain management in the US as well as risk for drug overdose death
• Practice a risk assessment for opioid use disorder for individuals prior to starting opioid use
• Familiarize yourself with withdrawal tools for opioid withdrawal (Clinical Opioid Withdrawal Scale)
• Develop awareness of social workers role in behavioral strategies being implemented for individuals with pain management and/or opioid use disorders

This event is being led by Jennifer Harrison, PhD, LMSW, CAADC.
