Suicide Prevention Senior Director (Remote)
American Foundation for Suicide Prevention is hiring a full-time, remote Senior Director. The salary range for this position is $125,000 To $135,000.
Responsibilities:
• Provide leadership on partnerships with grant funders and external organizations that focus on reaching the systems and settings where highly impacted populations, such as neurodivergent youth and young adults, live, learn, play, and seek healthcare
• Convene internal and external experts to determine strategic actions to reduce suicide risk among key populations
• Manage multiple stakeholders including funders, internal teams, external partners, resulting in collaborative, positive engagement
• Develop goals and strategies for research, policy, and program partnership, development, and implementation
Education/Experience:
• Terminal degree in public health, social work, or a related field.
• 10+ years relevant professional experience in program development and implementation, with excellent program and/or customer management experience. 5+ years' experience working within an organization with chapter infrastructure.
