Community, Equity and Impact Coordinator (NYC)

Fountain House is hiring a part-time Community, Equity and Impact Coordinator. This position may be perfect for an MSW student.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the development and delivery of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging training focused on identifying personal biases, developing tools, and strategies to enhance inclusion. 

• Assist with building awareness and use of Diversity and Inclusion best practices. 

• Assisting with the planning, developing, and coordinating of DEIB initiatives with an emphasis on providing support to Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) and We The People Collaborative. 

• Assist with creating and implementing a framework to integrate Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging strategies and goals. 

Education/Experience:

• 3+ years experience of criminal justice/community activism or a related field 

• Batchelor's degree preferred 

• Strong organizational skills 

• Proficiency in MS Office and Slack 

• Knowledge of Social Practice or the clubhouse model.
